I did see the moon Saturday evening. I noticed that the moon was way bigger than normal and I also noticed that it was a very bright yellow color, it also produced a lot of light. I thought that that moon was really big and cool.

No, we did not see the super moon. We learned that on Saturday that it was the closet to earth that it had been in its orbit. We also learned that the moon appeared 14% bigger than all the other future and past full moons of 2012. We thought that the moon looked really big and awesome.

Deletei did see it and it was bright and cute . like taylar said it is bigger then it normally was and i thought wow . it orbit more then needed to . and it produced alot of light .

In the article I learned that during the supermoon it was it was at its closest point that it ever was to earth. the result was it was the biggest moon of the year, NASA named it the Supermoon 2012. the moon hit its peack at 11:34.NASA predicted that the moon would look up to 14 percent bigger than other full moons of 2010 and could shine 30 percent brighter because of the close pass.

ReplyDeleteYes we noticed that it was a bright yellow. It almost had a glow to it, it had like a bright yellowish haze to it. It was very interesting but we didn't know NASA named it the super moon of 2012.
