  7. @ Brett Kron,
I can't believe some states such as Kanasas and Texas could feel the earthquake from far away! It must have been really bad. I wonder if people had to evacuate because the earthquake was so bad? Or if anyone got hurt?

Since the aftershocks were so big, I'm surprised Ohio or Indiana didn't feel the aftershock!

  17. No, I didn't hear about the earthquake in Oklahoma until today. The 5.6 magnitude quake took place in about the center of Oklahoma. It was the largest magnitude earthquake that Oklahoma had felt since the 1950s. There were many aftershocks from this earthquake, the average magnitude of them all being about 3.0 on the Richter Scale. I learned that some of the aftershocks were felt from over 200 miles away and they (aftershocks) were felt in the states of Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas.
