Erosion and deposition create mountains, hills, and valleys.
They create mountains and hills by eroding away other mountains and carrying he eroded rocks and minerals into a new place. In that place, the rocks and minerals build up into large hills over a long period of time.
Erosion and deposition create valleys by eroding away a certain spot of land, until it is lower than the land around it. Being lower than the land around it makes it a valley and the land around it hills.
I know that canyons, marshes, and valleys are created by erosion and deposition. A example is that the Grand Canyon was created by a river long ago and is still being eroded today.
@ Wade Stenger, I did not know the Grand canyon was created by erosion and deposition. That is really cool. I also didn't know it was created by the colorado river.
Some thing I know is created by the processes of erosion and deposition is wetlands(at the mouth of a mountains). I think it's interesting because you wouldn't really think that's what made the wetland.
@ Wade Stenger I remember learning that the Grand Canyon was made by erosion, but I didn't even think about it until you mentioned it! I hope we can learn more about that because now I'm kind of curious...
Mountains, Valleys, and hills are all created by erosion. Just like what wade said the Grand Canyon was created by the Colorado river which is chemical erosion.
Erosion creats landforms and all the earth based things on the land other then buildings those are man made. but Erosion is the land and earth based things on the land you walk on today
I know that the grand canyon was created by erosion because of the colorado river this is chemical erosion.

ReplyDeleteI know soil is created by the process of erosion and deposition. I also know sand is made by the process of erosion and deposition.

ReplyDeleteErosion creates land forms like rivers and canyons because water, wind and other rocks break it down one example is the grand canyon.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know that the grand canyon was made by erosion. Now that I think of it, it makes scence though.
@ Bryant Winters I didn't know marshes were created by erosion that is interesting.

ReplyDeleteHow does erosion create mountains if they are the ones that are being eroded at??

i know the great lakes were created by erosion because glaciers created the holes which are now the lakes and then melted in them.

ReplyDeletei know that cliffs, rivers, lakes, creeks, oceans, hills, valleys, and tunels
ReplyDeletethe yosemite was created by glacial movements that shaped the mountains

ReplyDeletewe all know that earosion makes sand just like it takes big rocks and makes them small
What is created is dirt and sand made from rocks/ boulders and rocks fall off the side of cliffs.
ReplyDeleteerosion makes a lot of different things. It makes boulders, rocks, cliffs, hills, glaciers, mountains, and sometimes caves.
ReplyDeletethanks for helping me, your website is great, i learned a lot of stuff on erosion and deposition
ReplyDeleteIt was noice
