Earth's Interior

What are the three layers of the earth?  What is the lithosphere?  What is the difference between oceanic and continental crust? What is the core made of and how hot is it?  What is the mantle?  What is magma?  Click on the link below to answer these questions and tell why scientist might study earth's interior.  After you click on the link Click on Plate Tectonics and then on Earth's Interior.

  1. The Earth is made of the core, the mantle, and the crust. The lithosphere is a few slabs condemned in a few continents. Continental crust is thicker and is made of fine material. Oceanic crust is only made of dense materials. The Earth's core is probably made of rock and fire and is hot as the sun. The mantle is a part of the Earth that is in between the core and the crust. Magma is a substance that is made of fire inside volcanoes.-Dominic Deutsch
