Sun spots are formed by a strong magnetic field that spreads out over gas from the inside of the sun. People have known about sunspots since the time of Galileo. They do not effect Earth in any way at all.
Yes, we have thought before about what sunspots look like. Sunspots form because of the magnetic fields. People have known about them for a really long time, since about the 17th century AD.
Yes we wondered what goes on in the sun. The magnetic field and hot gases. Yes because solar storms may occur. People have known about sunspots for 400 years. We think sunspots are very interesting and the video was very informational.
Sunspots are formed when a strong magnetic field that disrupt the boiling of the sun's gases. No, sunspots do not affect the Earth. People have known about, and have been studying, sunspots for about four hundred years. I think that sunspots are very interesting because they are something different that we can't see everyday.
I really never thought about but now I guess I wondered what a sun spot looked like. Sun spots are formed by a giant magnetic field. People have known about sun spots since 17th century AD the time of Galileo. I don't think sun spots are interesting because there pretty common.

we think sunspots probaby look like weaker fire. than the rest of the sun. sunspots are formed by a magnetic field. we have known about sunspots for about 300 years. are they permenant?
The video said the sun spots are just hot gas coming out of the sun, spreading on the surface, cooling, then going down.Sun spots are formed by the presence of a strong magnetic field. Scientists have been studying sun spots for about 400 years. Sun spots do not affect Earth.
Neither one of us have really wondered about what sun spots look like. They form when the magnetic fields rise from the Sun's surface. We have known about sun spots for a couple hundred years. Sun spots do not effect earth.
We agree that sunspots are very different, and would be very cool to see. We wonder if we have ever seen sunspots before and just not have known what it was? We also wonder if sunspots can be easily spotted or have a certain cycle?
@ brook and taylor, We agree with you. We didn't know that sun spot's will increase over the next 4 years. We wonder if that is a good thing or bad thing.
they form when a magnetic feild disrupts the burning of gases. No it doesnt affect the earth. People have known about them for 400 years. I agree that sunspots do not affect the Earth. I didn't see in the video that the sunspots are actually just the hot gas coming out of the sun. I just knew that they were formed by the presence of a strong magnetic field.
Yes, I have wondered what sun spots look like. In this video the sun spots look like a a pupil, or a sunflower.Sunspots form because of the magnetic fields.Sunspots don't affect Earth. @ lorraine we agree sun spotz dont affect earth and people are saying since Galileo's time we've known about sun spots but it was 400 years ago Wade and Drew
@Wade Stenger and Drew FitzGibbon You guys are right about that but it is a possibility even though it wasn't said in the video that sun spots do affect earth. But they didn't say it in the video so it doesn't matter. And I thought it was funny that sunspots are pretty cool.
Sun spots are formed by strong magnetic force and gases. Sun spots do not affect earth in any way. We think sun spots are very cool and interesting. People have studied Sun spots for 400 years.
sunsots look very different than we thought they looked.they have stringy middles. also after many years of studing the sun with a sweddish telescope they found that it is made of hot gasses.
Sun spots are formed by a strong magnetic field that spreads out over gas from the inside of the sun.since galeleio.i think they just look like a black hole.
We have wondered what they look like. They form because of strong magnetic fields.Sun spots do not effect earth in any way shape or form.People have known about sun spots since 1610.
Sunspots are formed when a magnetic field is disrupted by the boiling of the sun's gases. Sunspots don't affect the earth. People have known about and studyed sunspots for hundreds of years. We think that sunspots are very interesting.
None of us have ever really wondered what a sun spot looks like because we didn't know it was really that important. Sun spots are formed by the strong magnetic field disturbing the boiling in the sun. We think it's interesting to learn about the sun spots.

Sun spots are formed by a strong magnetic field spread out over the sun. We think they can interfere with solar energy and TV signals. Humans have know about sun spots for over 400 years.

Maybe, one day when astronaunts are in space, I know they won't be able to land or go near the sun, but maybe they'll be able to see the sunspots from a distance and they can take pictures of it. @ Maggie Hoover... I never thought of sunspots affecting earth because of the people studying them, I was thinking of how the sunspots affect earth as a planet, not just how it affects people. Interesting perspective.
I wonder how people studied sunspots that long ago, they didn't have very good telescopes and looking at the sun can make you blind, especially when the sun's light is magnified. They would have to take pictures of the sun or wear heavy duty sunglasses, but few people would think to study the sun if they didn't know what they could study.
@ anonymous... I totally agree that Bailee was behaving very rude to say that but at least she and her friends put an informative comment, I liked their ideas.

ReplyDeleteBailee that was very offensive to put "dumb & dumber" on your comment. That could be considered ciberbullying. Don't bully!

ReplyDeleteI totally agree that Bailee was behaving very rude to say that but at least she and her friends put an informative comment, I liked their ideas.
I have never wondered about the subject. The large magnetic fields.Yes it does.I don't like the subject because I don't think it's very impotent.
