  1. Mount Saint Helens erupted on May 18th, 1980. It is located in the Southwestern part of the state of Washington. This eruption resulted in 61 deaths. This eruption was measured as a VEI 5, and it was the first known eruption in the U.S. to actually result in death.

  2. Mount Saint Helens is in the South Western area in Washington. On may 18th, 1980 many people died and it was the first eruption that people actually died and I hope nothing like that ever happens again but, something like that will eventually.

  6. Mt. St. Helens is located in Skamania County, Washington. It erupted in 1980. It killed 57 people. which had a land slide and the eruption covered over 230 square miles. not only killing people it killed lots of wildlife.

  8. Mt.St Helens erupted in 1980 it killed 57 people. A man was never found because he lived on the volcano and refused to leave. One time a climber fell in the crater and died. It is located in Skamania County, Washington, USA. The Gifford Pinchot National Forest surrounds Mt. St. Helens.

It killed 61 people, the volcano is about 40,000 years old. It is also 8,365 feet tall, and its last eruption was in 2004 some time.

  22. Mt. saint Helen is in washington, it killed around 50-60 people and had a land slide afterwards which blanketed 230 square miles and that killed many more people and wildlife. This happened in 1980 and it last erupted in 2004.
