Me (Bryant) was upstairs watching the news and thinking that it missed us. I (Joshua) was sitting downstairs playing video games waiting for the storm to pass by. We learned that their was tornadoes in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. Henryville, Indiana was hit with a EF4 tornado. An EF4 tornado can have winds up to 200 miles per hour. There was seven confirmed tornadoes that touched down across the tri-state on Friday.

  2. 7 tornadoes were reported to have touched ground last Friday. I was very scared the thought of being in a tornado scared me. Even the thought of just seeing one scared me. I have never been in a tornado and I don't want to. I thought it was so sad to hear about the little toddler who was thrown away from her family and died in the hospital and the rest of her family was killed.

As the storms raged through the area, we were somewhat going on with our life, and somewhat watching the news to make sure that the storms did not come near the specific area that we were in. We were also in the basement for part of the time, just for caution.

Our thoughts were that we hoped that the tornadoes didn't destroy anything or anyone, but those negative thoughts were confirmed, in many different areas.

After reading the links, we learned that the tornadoes mainly struck Moscow, Ohio, parts of Indiana, and a lot of northern Kentucky.
We also learned that the tornadoes measured up to an EF4 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, which means that they were very powerful.

  6. 7 tornadoes were reported to have touched the ground on Friday. I was sitting upstairs with my friend Emma, holding my nephew. We were watching the news, while being freaked out. I was also texting my friend Maggie Hoover, who has a fear of weather, so she was pretty shook up... I was scared a tornado would hit Dent or Cheviot, which is right by my house. I learned that torndaoes can basically rip down a whole town. I also never realized a tornado could be so fast.

We were all in our basements watching T.V, except for Cara who was sitting in her grandma's room watching T.V. Jordan was scared and she was worried about her dogs because she had to leave them at her house, Jenna was a bit scared but she knew the tornado wasn't going to hit but she was still worried about her family. Cara was fine, she knew the tornado wasn't going to hit them so she gave her dog a bath because he rolled in a dead snake. We learned that tornadoes can't make it up hills, if they do they don't last long and that's why Ohio was built on the 7 hills and we weren't hit with anything. The tornado touched down in Indiana, Kentucky and pretty much all of the mid-east.

I thought it was odd and scary but fun.
