Not really, because we both already knew a lot about the water cycle so we knew how the whole cycle stats and ends and all that other stuff. One question we have is how did they come up with the names for the different stages of the cycle.
We didn't really learn anything because we already knew about the stuff in the video about the water cycle. We wonder where the name presipitation came from because its a really weird word.
It helped us a little, because we remembered some of this stuff from previous years. But, the video did help explain what happens in each stage of the water cycle. We were wondering who first used the water cycle, and how did this person determine what to call the stages?
I still remember all the stuff I learned about in fourth grade, which was the water cycle, weather, etc. But it did remind me. I don't really have any questions.
@ Brett and Dylan: We agree. The video seemed like a review, but it helped explain some things we were unsure about (like what happens at each stage). Your question is a good one, we were thinking the same thing. We think that would be something interesting to learn about during this lesson.
We both already know a lot about the water cycle and the video didn't really tell us anything new. A question we have is where the terms for the stages of the water cycle came from.
It helped us understand a little bit. We already knew most of it but we did not know that plants and animals are part of the water cycle. We do not have any questions about the water cycle.
Yes, this video did help me to understand the water cycle a little better. I already new about most of it, but I forgot about the step called transpiration. Transpiration is when the water in plants, evaporates, like human sweat. I do not have any questions about the water cycle.

ReplyDeleteYea that's pretty much all the video did for us.
Deleteit also helped us a little by reminding us of stuff from previous years. We don't know who first used the water cycle either.
DeleteThose are good questions. We wonder who created the names for the water cycle and who first used the water cycle, too.
