Metamorphic rocks are made of two different types of rocks. They come from deep underground and form under high heat and pressure. The types are fluids, strain, Heat, pressure, and foliation. Some examples are blueschist and quartzite which can be found deep underground or on the surface after earthquakes. We learned that when all four factors come into play it can form really rare rocks that are pretty cool.

Metamorphic rocks form when igneous or sedimentary rocks are at high heat or pressure and change into something new. Some examples of metamorphic rocks are quartzite and marble.

Metamorphic rocks are when igneous and sedimentary rocks are changed. They come from being changed underground by pressure. For example shale is changed to slate in this process.
