  1. That rocket sounds pretty cool. It defently will not pass with congress. The price is pretty high. So i dont think we are going to mars any time soon. The plans of a rocket defently will not work with our country budget for a long time.

  2. I think although that the rocket is expensive i think it is worth a try because it would be really neat to land on a asteroid.

  3. I think this rocket will be really cool. I'm suprised that they will try to fly to Mars because i have always wanted to hear about something like that. i wonder how long the rocket will take to build and also how long it will take to fly to these other places.

  4. I think it sounds interesting but it will never go through with congress so we should wait it out and visit mars later.

  5. Mrs Hoffman,
I think NASA having a future new rocket is a good thing. I think this is a good thing because the more rockets we have the more we can explore. We can also get more astronauts into space. That's what I have to say about NASA's new rocket.

  6. it sounds kool but idk it might not go over well with congress 35 bil is alot of money.

  7. The rocket will not be able to go to space anytime soon in our society. It would be really cool if they could fly it into space, though. However, the Congress will never agree. It would be really cool if they could take live pictures of mars, though.

  8. I think that it would be really cool if a rocket were to be built, but it could also be somewhat of a waste of money. NASA could end up spending way more than they plan on, and then the country would be in need of more money. If NASA spends billions of dollars on a new rocket, then there will be no money for other things, such as new national monuments or anything like that.

  9. The rocket seems very expensive and I don't really know if it's worth it. It also seems very powerful so it might help make mew discoveries, but we will just see what congress says.

  10. @ lorraine i think its gonna get stopped by congress no1 wants 2 pay 35 bil in taxes

  11. Even though I really never have wanted to go to space or anything and have never cared about the space program, I think NASA should build the racket. Imagine the advances in science we could make if we could land on astroids and Mars. We would be so much more educated if NASA built the rocket.

  12. I like the idea of a new rocket, it sounds interesting. The only thing wrong is that it cost a ton of money.I guess they thought that it was worth it because they would get to explore more.:)

  13. @ Carley Snell

I agree that it would be cool to see live pictures of Mars because all the scientists have been making guesses about what happens on the planet Mars, but they have never actually been on the planet.

  14. @ Alex Stevens

I agree, what if theres a huge disaster or they need to build a monument. We won't have the money to make those things happen because we spent it all on a rocket which might not even be worth it.

  15. I think that the rocket had a lot of money put into it and it must be a really good rocket...i wonder how much gas it uses for a full trip?

  16. The rocket idea is good because by 2020 -2040 we should be on mars(landed their) and before that they are planing to land on an asteroid and I can expect it will be in 10-30 years because it costs a lot.I hope it will pass congress because it'll be a big step for space science.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I think the rocket would be awesome, but for that price it isn't worth it. We would probably be a lot more aducated if NASA would build the rocket.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think it is cool that there trying to build a new rocket. BUt how long would it take to go to mars and come back. I would want to be the first to land on mars but i think it would be a long time

    ReplyDelete
  19. I say that is one expensive piece of metal. i mean look at the price $35billion dollars and that many corvette engines.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @ Bryant

I dont know what an asteroid would be like, probably just a giant rock. but it would be really cool! I think it would be cool to pick up some of the rocks and see if they are even special.

  21. @ zach schmidt
I am also interested in how long it will take to build and how long it will take for it to fly.

    ReplyDelete
  22. This rocket looks cool. But I don't think congress will want to pay for it though. If had a couple billion dollars I would have it built,I think its good to have a new rocket so we can learn new things about space.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @ Abby Coogan,
I totally agree with you we would be so much more educated if we built the rocket!

    ReplyDelete
  24. @Rheanna
It might be a good idea to wait it out and worry about going to mars later.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @ Wade Stenger
I defently think its going to be stopped by congress. which 35 billion will not be in our country budget until 2811

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think the idea of the rocket is good but it will never happen because the huge price and plus all the polution the rocket will make

    ReplyDelete
  27. @ Lorraine Lowrey
I guess you're right. As amazing as it would be for astronauts to go to Mars, it will never pass with congress.

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Zach Schmidt yeah I was wondering how long it'll take to reach mars I think it'll take about 4-8 years.

    ReplyDelete
  29. @eric fischer i think there are people on mars all ready but yes it would be cool.

    ReplyDelete
  30. That's I think congress should let it fly I mean that's cool and they already have the rocket built and everything so I think its a little to late for them to say no!!! And that is a lot of horsepower!!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. @ Drew FitzGibbon,
I would agree with you I don't think they would want to pay that much either.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @ Brett
I agree with you. I think they should pay for it so we can explore more in space.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @ lorraine
where did you get that date i'd say it would take around 10 years to get all the money

    ReplyDelete
  34. I think it should fly. There could be new things on planets we have never found before like on mars.it may take 6 years but it should fly anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think that the build wil be cancled by congres because n one wants to pay 35.00 million dolleres in taxes

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Zach
I would not want to be an anstranaut i would not want to be in space for a month let along 4-8 years. And you would have to add on the trip back so you could be stuck in space for 16 years!!! I could not eat powdered food for that long id miss pizza and ice cream!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. @ liz scarlatto
    I completeley agree.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I think getting a new rocket is a good idea. It means we can explore more but it means prices will go up more so i dont know how people will like that...

    ReplyDelete
  39. If this Rocket is going to cost about 35 billon then they will have to work really hard or the money is a waste. If its supposed to fly in 4 to 8 years then have to start working hard on it

    ReplyDelete
  40. @Drew
I dont think it will go over with congress either. Thats a lot of money

    ReplyDelete
  41. @ Brooke

I agree with your thinking. I don't like the idea that it costs a lot of money, but i guess if that's what they have to do, that's what they have to do!

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Liz

I agree because they already have it built so why say no.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @Eric Fischer
I also would also want to be the first on mars so i could find new thing and tell everyone about mars

    ReplyDelete
  44. I am very excited for this rocket. I think it sounds very cool. Hopefully NASA will make history with this rocket! That would be really cool because then we can look back and remember when people were first talking about the new, powerful rocket. I don't really like the idea that it costs so much money, but I think it would be worth it in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Thats really cool that their building thaat rocket. who cares if the rocket costs 35 billion its going to be really cool if they are allowed to launch it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. It is really interesting. The rocket costs alot of money! I wouldnt do 35 billion dollars. It would be really cool to go into space and see mars though. I think they should just build the rocket.

    ReplyDelete
  47. @Maddie Lindemann.
I agree with you , they should build the rocket. I also agree that they should pay 35 billion dollars, its a waste!

    ReplyDelete
  48. That would be so cool if one of the NASA rockets could go to mars. I don't think the congress will agree on that anytime soon. It would be so cool if this did turn out well

    ReplyDelete
  49. This rocket sounds cool. I think that that they should let them build the rocket because after so many years of never getting passes the moon, it'll be nice to get somewhere further. The congress will probably say no, due to its cost.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I think the rocket is a good idea, and would help with finging out more about space. The only thing I do not like is how much the rocket would cost, and paying alot of money for a rocket right now is just not a good idea in my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  51. @ Jalynn i agree i am excited to see how this rocket turns out and will NASA make history

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think that they should build the rocket but at the same time i think that $35 billion is to much, if people really want to give away money like that then they should give money to me.....SHOPPINGG TIME!!!(:

    ReplyDelete
  53. @ maggie Hoover
I agree that the congress will not pass it, because of the cost.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I thin it is a great idea but it will soooo not go over well with congress. that much money for a rocket that might not even reach it goals? I still think they should try.

    ReplyDelete
  55. A 35 BILLION dollar rocket?! That's crazy! But it sounds very cool, the most powerful rocket ever. They said that the people in the rocket would be living in space for 10 years right? I could never do that, I might barely survive three days in space! But it would be really neat to go live in space for a while as long as nothing goes wrong and I'm allowed to go bounce around on the moon for a while with low gravity, I could do a triple flip in midair! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  56. if they actualy do make the rocket it will be one of the best things nasa ever did and it will also be the most powerfull rocket they have ever made

    ReplyDelete
  57. @ Alex
    AMEN
That is the best answer EVER. We will need the money. they should ask for a portion and raise the rest of the money them selves. Step right up, Step right up, worlds biggest bake sale starts... NOW!!!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I think building the rocket will be good thing for the future of space research and NASA but if its going to cost 35 billion then NASA isn't going to get their rocket anytime soon.

    ReplyDelete
  59. @Angel Conway: It would be a great idea to get to knew places but yes, that's A LOT of money to make a rocket. Especially if something went wrong and 35 billion dollars would just blow up in space... and yes, I think they should still do it too.

    ReplyDelete
  60. @ Conner
    Yes, yes it would. 8)

    ReplyDelete
  61. I think it would be cool if they could go all the way to an astroid and then mars.I dont think congress will let NASA do it considering the state that the economy is in.

    ReplyDelete
  62. @Sara Bloemker: Now that I think about it, yes, 35 Billion dollars is a lot of money. But if they really need that much they could, like Angel Conway said, ask for a portion of the money and then raise the rest themselves. And if I was ever given 35Billion dollars Sara, I would save every last penny in a CD in the bank. THAT'S GOING TO GET ME BIG MONEY! :D

    ReplyDelete
  63. @Murphy
I agree that it will be a cool rocket if they are going to build it and send it up to space but I don't think its going to happen because it cost to much $$$. If they do make the rocket will NASA make history with there discoveries.

    ReplyDelete
  64. @ Matthew Budde

I agree, with the state our economy is in, they'll have to await awhile, unless they find some cheaper way to build the rockcet.

    ReplyDelete
  65. 35 billion dollars to build a rocket that is ccrazy. All of that money just to explore other planets. I don't think congress will let them because of the condition that the economy is in. It would be reall neat to go to mars though.

    ReplyDelete
  66. @ Matthew Budde
I agree it will help them a lot with space research that rockect could be the rocket that could carry the first people to walk on mars.

    ReplyDelete
  67. @ Sam Gunther
I agree I think there is no way congress WILL LET THEM SINCE IT COSTS THAT MUCH $$$$$. I agree it would be so cool to go to mars.

    ReplyDelete
  68. @ Jen Bertke
Yea, of corse i would save most of it but i would spend some on..My favorite cars..A camaoro, and a Hummer broo, lol..If you had that kinda money what would you buy..I would buy my sister a face..cuz she messed up the one she has now..mass...

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't thonk NASA should spend that much on a new space ship. They don't produce anything that benefits society that much, they only make new ideas and theories. If they do make a new space ship they definately sould not get money from the government.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I think that the new NASA rocket is cool because it is using hydrogen and oxygen for fuel and it has twin rocket bosters. I think that the Rocket will need more money to complete but it will be a great succes to our country. If I were trying to build this rocket I would quit.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I think it is a wast of a lot of money because we wouldn't be gaining anything by going to mars.

    ReplyDelete
  72. @Maggie Hoover
Yeah, we could use that money on something else there many things that need. It would be cool if they built the rocket though. they would so much new info.

    ReplyDelete
  73. That is a lot of money, I dont know that I would spend that much money on 1 rocket, and I dont know who would want to be in space for a whole year.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I think that it would be a good idea because then the goverment would have too fund the NASA programe.!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. it would be pretty cool to have the new rocket but where would they find that much money??if I was building a rocket i would just sit an do nothing because i have no idea how to build a rocket!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  76. @rachel kuebel
i would agree with that statement because i would watherb by stuff that we accutally need instead of spending 35 billion dollars on a rocket thats going to be in space for a year

    ReplyDelete
  77. I think this rocket will be really cool. I'm suprised that they will try to fly to Mars because i have always wanted to hear about something like that. i wonder how long the rocket will take to build and also how long it will take to fly to these other places.

    ReplyDelete
  78. @ Olivia
I know where would you get all that money?! We are already in dept

    ReplyDelete
  79. the picture of the rocket was cool i would probaly never go on one thow becuse i would get sick

    ReplyDelete
  80. @rachel

I would agree with that statement because They need about 35 BILLION DOLLARS:)

    ReplyDelete
  81. I know NASA is like a billon dollar industury or whatever but do they really need a 35 BILLION dollar rocket?! What I say about this rocket is I dont care because I dont like rockets and speace and stuff. But what they say is that the people in the rocket would be living in space for 10 years? Now who would wanna do that????NOT ME(:

    ReplyDelete
  82. @ derek ellis

i think it would be cool if it wasnt a ton of money...but i do agree with you that going to mars would be cool...do you know that there i is life on mars? i do wonder who long a rocket takes to build frequently too... probably 5 years

    ReplyDelete
  83. I think that the rocket sounds really cool. It would be awsome to see pictures of Mars but I'm not so sure about 35 billion dollars on a rocket in this economy becasue there is better things to spend 35 billion dollars on!

    ReplyDelete
  84. i think it sound pretty cool but it cost to much i think it would be cool to go to Mars

    ReplyDelete
  85. I think that the rocket sounds really cool. It would be awsome to see pictures of Mars but I'm not so sure about 35 billion dollars on a rocket in this economy becasue there is better things to spend 35 billion dollars on!

    ReplyDelete
  86. @Liz
I agree with you why say no if they already built it?

    ReplyDelete
  87. I think that building a rocket would be really awsome! However that would be a waste of money because when they go up to space and bring it back down and find out that there are somethings that they need to fix on the rocket, that would need more money. So, I think, that it`s a cool to learn more about space but its hard to find a bunch of money like that.

    ReplyDelete
  88. @ Matthew Budde

If they built the rocket, then do you really think they would be able to do the things they say they can do ?

    ReplyDelete
  89. @ Rachel Schiller
I agree with you how that would be really cool but that is way too much money to spend on a rocket and then almost never use it again and we could use $35 billion dollars on a lot more than a rocket, such as building new places so that more people could have jobs and homes and better lifes and help fix all the worn out roads and bridges and make abandoned building for sale so that they can be used.

    ReplyDelete
  90. @ Basil

I agree, we could use 35 Billion dollars for giving people jobs.

    ReplyDelete
  91. i think NASA is spending way to much money just to build one rocket!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  92. that is a lot of money for one rocket but does sound really cool.
