Hurricane Irene

How many of you heard about hurricane Irene which hit the east coast last weekend?  Did anyone know somebody who was affected by the hurricane?  Read the following and article and leave your thoughts on the damage left by hurricane Irene.  Also tell me the name of the hurricane that is developing right now.

    i heard about the hurricane irene i know sombody that was actuly suspos to go there for a wedding but i dont know anybody that was in it

    Yes, i herd about it the presedent had to cut his vecation in New York. No, i do not know anyone who got hit. It made a little damage on each state on the east coast. I do not know what hurricane is formingf right now.

    I have heard about the hurricane named Irene and my aunt lives in new york but i dont talk to her all the time so i dont know if she got affected or not but i do not know what hurricane is forming right now

    i heard about it by my mom .and some hurracane came and the dameg costed 200billion dollars .i whander haw much this one costed

    I heard about hurricane Irene. I heard that New York had to be shut down. I have never heard of New York not busy, except in movies. It is sad that Irene killed 50 people. Hurricanes are dangerous and deadly. I would be scared if I were caught in a hurricane. One good thing is at least rain water relief should reach drought-stricken Texas.

    I do not know the name of the hurricane National Hurricane Center is watching over but I know that it is moving northwest through the Gulf of Mexico.

    HUrricane Irene must have been very destructive if it caused people to have food airlifted to them. It caused about 45 deaths, that's a lot of people. There is also another Hurricane forming, named hurricane Katria. I wonder how much damage that one will leave.

    I heard about Hurricane Irene because it hit North Carolina's Outer Banks, which we went to last summer. One person that I know that was affected by the hurricane is one of my family memebers that lives in New York. There was a lot of rain up there. I can't believe how much damage there is. This hurricane hit the whole East Coast! The hurricane that is developing now is Hurricane Katia.

    I heard about hurricane Irene because one of my mother's close friend and her family was in Virginia Beach for a vacation. They were also there when the earthquake hit there. She wasn't affected by it, because she left by plane, before it hit. The other hurricane that is forming right now is Katia, which is currently a category 3.
