Now that we have been in class for about 2 weeks I wanted to get your input.
I know we have had some different schedules and shorter classes, but with the time we have had together, what do you think about our science class so far?
Also, how do you feel about this blog site. I know many of you have said you have not blogged before and I would like to know if you like it or not? How do you think we could use this in the most beneficial way? What would you think are exciting activities we could run through our blog?

Well i think science has been fun. I think every on has made new friends and realy got to know one another. I have had alot of laughs just in this class. this has realy made us feel better with the new school year.
ReplyDeleteI think science class is really fun so far. I also enjoy the blogging site because it's a fun way to know what's going on outside of school, that has to do with science. I have never blogged before, but so far, I really like it. I think that blogging with everyone else is a good way to interact with our classmates, and everyone else on the team. This can be beneficial because we could also use the blog to post assignments, and if we have questions we can just comment on the post with that assignment on it. Some fun activities we could do is have a "trivia" contest and whoever posts the right answer to a science question wins a small prize.
ReplyDeleteSo far I love science class, I think that science has been alot more fun so far. I think the blog is already very beneficial because you can show your thoughts and you can see others thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI think science this year has been realy fun so far i really liked doing that sun activity.i also think think blog is really cool because it more fun than having a class disscution where the same people raise there hand every time this way everybody can participate and this is what i will being looking forward to doing every monday morning in science.(:

I think that blogging might be a way for those quiet kids who don't talk a lot in class to express how they feel about these topics better than they would talking. I love blogging and I can't wait to do it again next Monday!!!! :D

ReplyDeleteI think science class will be fun this year. Last year we did not get on Blogspot, but I think it's better to answer and grade us because some kids are shy and dont like to answer in front of people which is how I am in some cases. On here all you have to do is type your answer. That's a reason why I like getting on Blogspot.
ReplyDeleteA fun activity we could do on blogspot is you (Mrs. Hoffman) can post things on the internet that are entertaning and easy to understand/learn so that we get intereted and we can learn better.
I think having a blog is a really good idea. most kids would rather do something on the computer than to just write or talk. It is easier to talk on the blog because you don't have to be uncomfortable to talk out loud. You can also reply yo other kids in different classes.

ReplyDeleteI really agree that we could use the blog for things other than articles. Having homework and trivia and homework could work good. I wasn't thinking specifically about how the blog can help us learn outside of school. I didn't know about the hurricane until I read the article.
I think our science class is pretty fun so far! I like this blogspot because it is much easier than speaking in front of the whole class and its simple. We didnt blog at all last year, and I like blogging this year. We could use this in a beneficial way to help us understand things easier and to have the site helpful to others as well. Some fun activities I think we will run into on this blogspot is interesting topics about other disaters and other things that happenes in different areas.
ReplyDeleteI really like this science class so far ! Its been really fun because this blogging site helps people say what they want in class, but are too afraid to say it. I haven't blogged before, and I really like this because it gives me a chance to talk to people who I may not normally talk to in school.

ReplyDeleteWhat i like about science class so far is the bloging. And how we took the trip to space.And learned about Earth,Space,and the Sun.I think this school year is going to be fun. I hope we get go to more feild trips.This year will be very interesting.I will be looking forward to this year.

we feel that science is fun we have met new friends but Andy Shirer also thinks that we need to stop bloging.
ReplyDeleteI think that science class has gone O.K. I really like the blogging system becasue I can see what others are thinking about a certin topic. I aslo like you can actually have a conversation about the topic without having to do a paper on it. I think we should leave the blog the way it is because I think its benefical the way it already is.
